The past meets the futureby dawnwalterComment: The image is very small, so it makes the image hard to judge fairly. For me the composition is poor, you need to take care of details like a straight horizon but also need to spend more time considering what your subject is.
Obviously your intention was to make a feature of the power lines, but the are very small in the frame and so it isn't clear whether they are the focus point of the image or not.
Hope I haven't rained on your parade too much, keep shooting and your eye will improve, just remember, composition is everything! |

HER PIERCING BLUE EYESby POLOComment: Striking image of a striking girl. The eye contact here is lovely, as is the expression and lighting. Love her hair too, she's a real beau |

Dragonby lambie83Comment: I am afraid this appears too soft due to being out of focus. The composition in nice enough and used the rule of thirds nicely. |

Frauenkirche Church in Munich Germanyby steffyldComment: This seems more like a centered composition to me, so I feel it doesn't fit the challenge. Its a nice enough photo with a nice mood and quite nice comp, but doesn't fit the challenge. |

Charlie Chaplin "The Golden Rush"by LevTComment: Easily the best image in the challenge. I love everything about this image, the light, the expression and most important of all, how faithful the image seems to the original. Top marks, this has ribbon all over it in my opinion! |

darknessby knuffelComment: Interesting image. The silhouettes are nice and give a menacing feel to the image, which I am sure is what you wanted to achieve. The background is also interesting and adds to the mood nicely. Good job! |

my palby lynnmarieComment: I really like this image. Because of your unusual composition with the wall down the left of the image, it almost feels like your peeking into the room and catching a very touching moment between a little boy and his dog.
I think the thing I love most is the rim lighting around the face and chest of the lad. Lovely image, well done! |

Indecisionby Rae-AnnComment: I can appreciate what you were trying to capture here, but for me you have not quite managed it. The silhouette is not simple enough in shape to determine the pose. I found I had to actually try and work out what is going on and this doesn't make for a great silhouette.
When you see the winners you can be certain that they will all be clear and well defined sihouettes. This was a nice idea but you need to work on the pose to make it more 'clean'. |

Dreamby nheilweilComment: Great concept and lovely execution. The colours are superb and the silhouette nice and clean. Hope you have time to explain how you created this shot, would love to know how you achieved such a great piece of work. |

Crescent moon sunsetby xylkeComment: Fabulous shot. I love how clean the silhouette is and the moon really is a great touch. The composition is also nice as are the great colours. Well done and good luck 8/10 |
