Entanglementby amonteforteComment: nice idea, benetton style. I don't know the macro capabilities of your camera, but I think a close-up of just the mixed braid and the two "ingredients" as a background would have looked a lot better for texture. 5 beegee |

Old Barn Woodby kposeyComment: I'll try to make this comment a little more useful than the average "lack of focus"... I looked at the size of your file and saw that you're way below the allowed 150KB. to get better definition out of a shot, try to compress it less, when you save the resized image - if you don't know how, drop me a line or post to the forums. this will not save a shot that is out of focus but if you start out with a crisp image, this helps to keep it that way. 3 beegee |

Acoustic Textureby HendrikComment: I guess this suffers a lot from too much compression, i.e. would look a lot better if you went for more quality in the jpeg settings. The lack of focus would probably be less of an issue then, too. finally, I think there's too much light in this shot, or the lighting is simply not balanced enough. 4 beegee |

XBT79by RemieComment: what a difference a little paint can make - without it, this would be sooo boring and this way, I really like it ;-) 7 beegee |

Komodo Dragonby pjangelComment: too bad this is somewhat soft in focus. maybe more definition/less jpeg compression and thus a larger file size would have helped. the animal's texture is quite amazing even so. 5 beegee |

Delectable Dropletsby jaidComment: wow! great DOF and I love your cat - a true living-room tiger. how long did the poor thing go without water? ;-) would do even better in a pet challenge with me. 6 beegee |

Cement, of coarseby ScottEmmonsComment: I think someone on the forum said last week that we'd see a lot of flat pictures. well, this certainly isn't one of them! I love the depth of it, looks very 3D. 7 beegee |

barbsby jgibsonComment: tough one for the focus, I guess. it looks very organic and makes me wonder what kind of barbs they actually are - will find out next week. 5 beegee |
