i like this idea. 2 suggestions: the books or whaever in the back are distracting and don't add nothing and it would've been way better if the spoon reflected something interesting. good photo, tho.

well being your first submission I would say I like the composition. the reflexion is a bit poor and uninteresting. it seems like it was like that when you found it wich it's understandable but it didn't have to be like that. you could've make modifications or put something in front of it to make it more interesting, no? good effort, tho. LM
