| This photo really appeals to me. I think part of it is the juxtaposition of the shiny metal and the texture of the carpet/rug. Also the parallel bright orange highlights on the spoon against the lines of the rug catch my eye. There are some great directional elements here all over the place. Nice sheen and colours. Like textured surface beneath spoon - would prefer this as entire background without the objects (books?) behind.

| simple strong image; clean, well focused arrangement allows nice play of transverse lines of light and shadow. bit busy at the top end of the spoon. |

| Not a lot of detail to look at, other than the mat. Nicely spaced lights reflecting back. Well photographed, but a little low on interest. 7 Swash |

| i like this idea. 2 suggestions: the books or whaever in the back are distracting and don't add nothing and it would've been way better if the spoon reflected something interesting. good photo, tho. |

I'm not sure but, this appears to be a reflection of a corner and view down a hallway to the door at the end slightly cracked open with the sunlight streaming into the windows of that room. Right? Even if my interpretation is off this is a very well done photo. =6 syamjonimi
