In this case I think the lack of definition in the shadow edges works to your advantage. However, the collar and bulk of the clothing on the model works against you.

I love the red wall and the shadows on it have a lot of potential. I think that having the fence in the photo detracts from the shot.

Very pretty, though either a bit too soft or slightly out of focus.

Blown out highlights and lack of a clear subject or storyline.

This kitty looks cool save for the wierdness in the coloring of the first panel.

Pretty blurry, to the point that I can't decide what I'm looking at.

I really like this one. It reminds me of something I once saw in a magazine. The texture of the surface that the shadow is projected on works very well. The shadow is very dark and well defined. I think I would like it better with a slight cropping from the left and the top, but that's just my personal taste. Very good job on this one.

Not a bad concept, but that background really doesn't cut it. You might try either blasting it with light to blow it out and effectively make it dissapear, or put a jumbo piece of paper in front of it.

Comment:
I had a problem with the lack of clarity on this one. perhaps a higher aperture to keep the exit sign in focus. Since the photo is named "Exit" it seems paramount that the exit sign be in sharp focus.
