Strawberries on the Rocksby BNCComment: Delightful photo. Nice exposure on the ice. The berries are a bit dark though I'm not sure what one could do about that short of finding some with a lighter shade. Good job. |

Slick Lickby GraciousComment: When I saw this I couldn't believe it, what a shot! Great timing to get that special moment. My only suggestion is to add some unsharp mask to really make it pop. |

Brushed Metalby mciComment: I particularly like how you have achieved such a sense of balance by your choice of composition even though it fills only half the frame. The low key lighting works well here. |

Delectable Dropletsby jaidComment: Nice clean shot with great timing to catch that tongue at full extension. Would be better without the newspaper lying there. |

She Sells Sea Shellsby KarenBComment: Nice arrangement with good texture (I would have said that regardless of the challenge topic) and interesting shape. |

Leaf it aloneby freetimeComment: Not a bad composition and a very interesting leaf pattern. I think there is a problem with sharpness though. Some unsharp mask would help a lot with creating sharp edge detail. |

Smooth as Grassby AaronComment: The very shallow depth of field with blur in the foreground hurts this shot a bit. |

Blueby pnichollsComment: The lighting and composition really make this shot for me and I think it is very good. I would prefer that the foreground were in focus even at the cost of some background blur, however, it doesn't seem to impact the quality of the shot very much at all. If not for the aspect ratio requirements of the challenge, I would lop off the bottom just to the lower right corner. Very good job on this one. |

Mineral Flowersby lumbusComment: Good original idea. The backlighting really works well for this chunk of rock. It's beautiful. You know, you could put a picture frame on this and it would look like a photo of an absract painting. |
