Beautifully set out. Fine disposition of light and, hand in hand, tones. Fetching composition. I love the diagonal slash of the draped fabric. The grain itself is a statement, dusting the image with glitter, but not meant in an easy, flashy way.

Meeting of Glaciers

In addition to the majestic, wild beauty of the scene, the "meeting of glaciers" is momentous in its vastness and actual impact, in its ineluctable inevitability. You can almost feel the reverberations deep within. The downward movement of the glaciers means that a fork in the road is not encountered, but the tines meld into a handle. Can't quite put a finger on the therefore of this.
