The Oculusby RikkiComment: Coming from the 1-4-0 thread.
You've certainly improved a lot during your next 43 submissions! You obviously had the 'eye' for a good subject/composition maybe just lacked the skill to pull it off. A shot to remind you of your journey ;) |

Sweet Mother of Pearl's Handsby jsasComment: I think you'd have a much better image if you changed the lighting, I'd like to see more seperation between the edges of the hands and background. the nice tight crop helps the composition. |

ginny-2-color.jpgby jpochardComment: Very emotional picture and you captured it well Judy! The only thing I can see that would 'add' to the picture is if Expectant Mother was a little closer to term - its 3 months on, if she is still pregnant super, if she is a proud Mother how about an 'after' shot. |

Grunge-Homme.jpgby pidgeComment: I can see why this is one of your favourites! makes me wonder where/what he is looking at (I'm thinking something good) The colour, light, composition and subject are all spot on. |

Poof!by pidgeComment: Coming from the 1-4-0 thread,
I'm a lover of negative space, this has plenty :) for me, the 'poofy' scarf could be sharper and it looks like you over corrected the exposure in the RAW converter to get the bg pure white?
I do like the idea and look forward to seeing version 2 ;) |

IMG_1238.jpgby MadMan2kComment: Polarised? as mentioned rotate the horizon a touch, It may have looked better if you were lower down and broke the horizon with the trunk of the first tree so all the branches where 'in the sky'. You don't need clouds for a decent sky :) |
