Very relaxed looking pose and agree with the others about the light. Hope you don't mind
Jeff but I took the liberty of downloading the image and having a play in CS3. I just removed the green and blue channels then played with the exposure slighty before sharpening the image and erasing the sharpened face.

That said I think I'd prefer something in between your image and my edit lol. PM me if you want me to upload it.

I'm not too keen on the tilt but understand how it might help the feeling somewhat. Reading your comments I take it this was just after the building had been empried and floor brushed? I do get a feeling of wanting to eplore the next room (and beyond). Am thinking we will see more of this building as the year progesses :)

02 - Bridge and Birds

Yup, without the birds this would look pretty average imho. As it is I like it, good composition, nice reflections on the water and a nice silhouette.

Have been looking at this for a few minutes now and its weird, it looks posed to me although I'm sure its a candid. Am wondering what all the conversations are about and what the dog seems to have spotted.

Nice composition/crop here. Doesn't look oversharpened on my monitor but a tad dark and have to view from an angle to get the detail in the eyes (my monitor though I think).

Maybe a portrait crop losing about a third of the right side and as Erik says thats where the better sky is - have fun overlaying it as well.

ok, maybe a little over processed and there is a bit of a holo around his face, otherwise a nice example. Not normally a fan of a central pic but it seems to work well here.

5.52 Then and now

Oh, I love the old Beetles (almost bought a new shape beetle but saw sense and got my ickle Brabus). I used to sell Beetles and MG's and think the best I owned was the 2002, never found a split screen though :(

I do like the crop you chose here and whilst the reflection is great if the car had been a new shape Beetle it would have been sooo much better.
