A Winter's Morningby SaraRComment: Nice take on whats already a lovely scene. The B&W conversion is spot on in this bold composition. There are not all that many times when a white sky adds to an image but reckon its perfect here. Oh, and being the boring fotog I am did you also take a portrait shot of the right half of the image? (thats a classic shot). |

# 6 Weekby SonifoComment: More vignette, less vignette lol. I'm happy as is Soni. The overal composition is nice and compact and the lighting is great, kind of moody and wonder if this would work well as sepia? If you could have got the birds head a little sharper it would have been even nicer (the birds blurred wings should stay).
You'll probably never get a chance to reshoot the same thing but maybe boosting the ISO to (say) 400 would have given a faster shutter speed to get the head sharp.

9 - Luminosityby BudComment: The thing I get most from this is how delicate those petals are - is that rain damage? Am wondering if this would look better with more dof or at a slightly different angle? |

Week 7: Nor*Calby Blue MoonComment: Other than the issues you mention Leah I think this is a great image, especially the conversion on her hair and face. Am sure Emily is very pleased with it :) |

Week 6: The Progression of a Reactionby Blue MoonComment: lol Leah. My first thought was I'd have liked the lighting to be the same in all shots however now I think the different lighting is ok (more photoboothish as mentioned below). |

Giocondaby WalesPComment: I do like this, as much for the ability of your subject to get in this postion as anything :) You have adone a good job with the lighting and note your settings. The softness works well for me, its a peaceful looking shot :) |

Builder (week 9)by booboo_goonComment: I hope you didn't scale the scaffolding to get on his level Luana! I quite like his bg as nothing detracts from the scene, in fact a portrait crop might work well? Even on my dark monitor I have details in the shadows - nice one! |

boredby BAMartinComment: The thing about a candid is if your after the subject expression you rarely get to pick the surroundings and think you made the correct descision going with a shallower dof (we can still make out the great roof tiles but they dont detract from the subject imho. The rail is a little dull but guess it goes with her frame of mind. Nice spot and think B&W lends itself to her mood more than a colour shot might. |

SMILE by ZeppKashComment: Big congrats on the ribbon Jason. Glad I wasn't taking a drink when I saw this - f'ing amazing and whilst for a fleeting moment I thought of animal cruelty I quickly realised you can't force 3 tennis balls in a dogs mouth and get him to say "I'm clever" with his eyes. A fourth ball? let us know if he manages that! |

06 Jordanby SandyPComment: Sandy, this is just wonderful, not just because of Jordans beauty and the (very) unusual seniors setting but, well, just because it is a great shot! I have tried to think of ways to improve it (even a touch) but can't, I thought about seeing the underwater pendant but that doesn't matter, I thought about making the eyes pop a little more but think it would look like you did just that. Then I thought about Jordan in slightly shallower water and, well, my apologies to her ;) |
