Cute puppy....
The lighting is harsh. The cast shadow doesn't help your subject. Perhaps you could have reflected a bit of fill-light with a sheet of poster board.
The tilt of the composition makes it feel as if the pubby is going to slide out of the picture.
And, for me, this does not relate well to the challenge topic.

Interesting perspective, but the technical flaws make it difficult to appreciate. Lens flare has its place, but in this image the pinkish dot and purple banding don't seem to have a purpose. The sun is painfully blown out--perhaps if you had intentionally underexposed you could have drawn out the shapes of the branches more and reduced the sun to a more pleasing size.

What an odd entry!

This image has distracting vignetting at each corner. The color is rather unappealing for the subject. And the subject...well, I guess I'll have to wait for your "notes' after the challenge to find out why you chose to photograph this. If it was meant as humor, it was lost on me.

Ths had potential. I like the one tree leaning out over the reflections of the upright trees.
You do need to make your image 640 pixels on its longest side (or close to)--this is too small to appreciate or critique proprerly.

Unusual cropping turns this into two photos. Perhaps you were going for the dead and the living...but it isn't a satisfying composition. Learn to maximize the 640 pixels per side for challenge photos, this is very small.

I think you have a wonderful feel for nostalgia!
This could be so many places I've been--especially in the Mediterranean.

Interesting post-processing to create some drama--but maybe you went a bit too far. The sky is brownish while the rest carries a blue cast...just feels off to me.

Love the deep perspective. And it certainly looks like a "typical" NYC scene...Looking forward to seeing more!
