This is a neat silhouette! I like the yellow and black--gives it a great graphic concept. The one pelican to the extreme right doesn't add anything and kind of pulls the eye out of the composition. Wish there were more emphasis on the "two-headed" pelican...slight cropping would strengthen this composition, in my opinion.

I like the grit on the hands showing the texture of the palms and the detail in the ropes. Nice study of hands...well posed for the image. The one thing that detracts from the sucess of this image is the forearm in the upper left corner...if the lighting were dimmer there to help it recede into the background, I think it would be better...it's curve and pale cleanliness detract from the strength of the working hands.

Very sparkly and hard-edged! I wish the signs in the skyline were not so "hot" as they keep pulling my attention from the more subtle and intricate lines along the shore.
