Seattle's new Public Libraryby cabaComment: It's so exciting to see an interior shot of this building--and done so artistically, as well! Hope to find more great shots of this building in your portfolio once the challenge closes. Luck. |

Samby rhipsterComment: Nice! That's the kind of shot that even the subject will like...even if not until he's older. I think the bright light in the center of the eyes is harsh. I'll hope that some of the other voters gave you a solution for it, and I'll look for it after the challenge is closed. Luck! |

Veroniqueby sahkoComment: Great way to express character! Expertly done. (And I'm sure she's a really nice person--but I wouldn't go messin' with her!) |

Someday.....by geewhyComment: Pleasant. I like the lighting on this and the posture of the hand is great. Nice casual portrait. |

Her eyesby MiinervaComment: There's obviously a great deal of thought put into the making of this portrait. The high key is interesting. I don't think the selective toning works--it makes the hair somewhat green and unbalances the eyes. The complexity of the room reflected in her right eye also doesn't add. |

got twins?by soniecatComment: Cute! You must like to be hard on yourself, trying to do two at once! I'm guessing its motion blur that causes the twin on the left to be slightly fuzzy? Lighting could be softened somewhat to prevent the harsh lights in the eyes (or you could photoshop them out)--just that they look a little like deer in headlights, I'm afraid. |
