Chickadees, how bold they are! Love the motion in the wings.

Ah...the unmistakable Taughannock Falls! I love the silvery effect in the water but wish the horizon weren't tilted as much. Still, cold and powerful!

Seems familiar to me...looks like the Susquehanna River shot from the Exchange Street Bridge in Binghamton, NY! If it is, I can't say I miss those gray skies... Very serene. I like the blues and how cold they make everything feel.

Very nice! It has that sense of fashion model about it...glamorous. I do think, however, that lighting could be improved a in two places. Some reflected fill light could ease the harsh shadow cast by the nose. And somehow back-lighting to prevent the second half of the glasses from merging with the void...perhaps it would have only taken a half step into the light toward the camera to pull up that detail. Even so, the image has immediate impact. The colors are a delight. The expression serious without being overly self-conscious. Nicely done!

Nice abstract. Color and texture play a huge part in the success of this image but, mostly, here you are shooting the light. Always shoot the light and let the subject take care of itself.

I like the idea but the hot spots are a distraction and the green felt not an appealing choice.

Okay, I'm convinced, putting glasses on a dog is funny! Especially when the image is well composed and the dog in question is a natural ham.

Beware, also, wide-angle lenses on large nosed people. Not so flattering... But the humor and the engagement of subject with camera keep my interest.
