I like everything about this shot. The choice to use B&W, the sharpness, the depth, the reflection... except for the tilted horizon. It's not adding to the image.
The overexposed building in the back bothers me a bit, also, but just a bit and i can live with that. The more i look at it, the less it bothers me. The horizon is what's killing this image for me. :-(

Brave on your side to enter an image where the central element is anything but a right angle. There are plenty of those in the image, alright, but i suspect that the majority of the voters will appreciate it.

A really non-standard approach on right angles. I like how they are present, very mush implied by the shape of the apple but not quite visible. I also like the lighting. I would guess it's a single soft/large light source.

How many apples did you use? :-)
They tend to change colour very fast when cut.
