Time Immemorialby Joy MooreComment: Lovely shot, great colors and balance, but the action is of such a gentle and quiet type that it may not score as well as worse shots that are of more frenetic action, but this is a great shot. |

Wave Actionby kaidaehnkeComment: fabulous framing, I'll bet this would have won if you were allowed advanced editing to bring up the shadows and knock back the water a touch. As is top ten. just a great capture. |

Close Encounter-Count the Tiresby eaglebeckComment: its tough with this much detail in the shadows, but that tell-tail washed out shadow filter look hurts this otherwise strong shot. great timing and well framed, but it misses the saturated colors that would have put it in the top ten. |

swimmingby steveh552Comment: Bigger is better. nice motion stop, but the detail in the water is lessened by the less than 640 pixel count on the long side. |

The burden of lonelynessby GiorgioComment: the backround though interesting when looked at close up, is dull in the composition as a whole, and leaves too much of the frame a vague grey blah. Had you used a stromg single point light to throw a shadow that would have recreated the lovely forms of chain links and curved fingers, the backround would have had the complexity to bump it up a few more notches. |
