Congrats on your top 20. I like more the
post-processed version.
There is something in the message I can't really say I like it. I think I don't get what the chain is doing there. No offence!
I didn't vote but I would have marked it a 7 or 8.
Felicitari pentru realizare si la mai mare. Asteptam un ribbon romanesc. |

Very creative and quite a different twist. Congratulations on your top 20 finish. |

the backround though interesting when looked at close up, is dull in the composition as a whole, and leaves too much of the frame a vague grey blah. Had you used a stromg single point light to throw a shadow that would have recreated the lovely forms of chain links and curved fingers, the backround would have had the complexity to bump it up a few more notches. |

I think that harsher angled light wouldve worked better here |

I would have tried a less angled perspective and with the majority of the picture dominated by gray, I would have considered B&W with bumped contrast. Perhaps that would have gotten it to the Top 10, but who knows, right? |

I like this photo, though I only gave it a 5. I think I scored it average because I thought the background would have benefited from being sharper. I would have liked the background to have been darker, as in your post-processed version, which, had that been entered into a member's challenge, I likely would have rated higher. I'd like to have seen the hands pop out more, and maybe the red in them taken down slightly with curves.
But I think it's a good picture, and the intepretation is unique. I haven't voted often (I'm new), so I think I'll take more into consideration in future. Thanks! |

Great picture. The only thing that I think would have made this picture better would have been to use some hands that looked a bit rougher ie. dirty finger nails, dirty hands. That would of made it more realistic. Good job great idea. |

Interesting, the negative space and the wide angle lense add alot of impact. I like it. |

Great texture and light. The wood grain plays well off the hands and the hint of rust on the chains |

Neat idea for a shot. Like the color of the hands and the b/w behind them |
