Emu Handlerby boyd2000Comment: This looks a bit backfocused; I see good defiition on the bushes and ferns behind the subject, but the beak and eye of the emu are a bit soft. |

King of the Roadby HauxonComment: Lovely colors, and great framing along the center axis. I really like this image. Some of the other very good portraits in this challenge dont have enough environment, this one suffers from too much environment, and almost no face or expression. While this framing makes it a very stong shot, it loses a point or so for not being as good a challenge entry as it does a composition. |

Franky, VeeDub Restorerby h2Comment: Im not sure what that thing in the upper left corner is, but should something on the undercarrige have such lovely colors? Might be a bit blown on the highlights of the hand and chin, but the framing, and mostly the expression you got in his eyes, make this my favorite so far. |

The BBQ Manby miminComment: The crop on both his head and the grill seem too tight. I really like the way you got the light across his sholder, but elsewhere it seems rather flat. |

L, Undergroundby literaryradicalComment: Nice dynamic framing and I like the underlighting on the modle in contrast with the down lighting of the backround, but the highlights on her face are a bit blown on my monitor. |

The Instructor's Next Business Cardby yakatmeComment: Great action shot, crisp and strong colors. The post precessing seems a touch overdone, given the stron light the shadow areas are a bit flat losing some of the modeling of the light, he looks a touch too silloetted. Minor quible, and it would make a great promotional shot. |

After the Long Rideby debitiptonComment: i like the way the blues tie the horse and rider together from halter to clothing, but i wish the girl had a bit more prominence in the image, I am assuming that the portrait is of her and not the horse, so I may be off in that assessment. lovely textures and expressions. |

Natures Ownby TajhadComment: good colors , but there just isnt enough of the subject in the frame for me, I do like the second image of him in the mirrors but the fellow seems a bit lost in his enviroment. |
