I very nice shot, but the dog seems to be the main subject and the shadows on him are not from the lighbulb that is in the frame. So while if dosen't really mee the challenge well, it is one of the better shots in the challenge, as a free study it might have done better,

My fave of the group thus far, nice softening of the colors, and a well balanced shot.

On the whole I like this image, but it seems to me that there is a bit much tree foliage and the trunk is a bit squeezed by the bottom of the frame. Had you either cropped it down off the top, or given more space to balance the composition, the lovely lines set up by the gravestones and the trees would have not caused the eye to slip off the page as easily. Other than that a nice composition and an elegant B&W conversion.

Eight votes under three? Nice to see the "I think she cheated" voters still don't read the "how to vote" section. Great Idea, perfectly executed.

This is very clever, and well executed. id love to know your thought process on this one. Did you bring along the TV? how did you decide to walk down the tracks from the primary shoot location?

The composition is very strong, especially using the model to divide the old buildings from the new, setting up a nice sense of urban dystopia.

Man, what are the odds? I was shooting from the point of the yacht harbor jetty, so you were all the way across the harbor and the green? Ah the joy of the long glass, it looks like we were standing shoulder to shoulder.

I may be prejudiced, but how does this get nine ones? I think its brilliant;)

A pretty amazing coincidence,

So no, I didn't submit two of the same shot, nor did I submit two of the same shot the week before.

This is surreal, you and I submitted the exact same shot, edited almost exactly the same, If it weren't for the placement of the wing tip of the #3 plane on the word NAVY I would swear it was the same shot. Were you at the end of the jetty of the Yacht club. It will be amusing to watch how these two score, since they are virtually the same shot.
