 I’ve shot this spot hundreds of times, so to me, it looks rather redundant. This was a last minute entry as I was just up at Kerry Park taking photos of guests from out of the country. I was metering for the background and took some test shots and switching to manual mode with a flash for my guests shot.
Thanks for all the comments and high marks, which really did surprise me. I don’t get out much anymore because I’m in my 7th cycle of chemo now and just don’t have the energy. But this score is an energy booster, and I’m doing better, my doctor is calling it a “partial remission”.

Great shot! Kerry Park is actually my favorite place to take pictures.

Awesome image! The color on Mt. Rainier really makes this picture a standout. Well done! I wish I had taken it. ( believe me I've tried!! lol)

Congrats on the 4th place Caba! I thought about heading up there (Kerry Park), but just couldn't find the time - and I'm glad now... as I wouldn't have done this justice. Glad to hear that you're doing well - and that this gave you a boost! Well done :O)

The pastel colors of the sky are beautiful. A different angle from what is usually seem in shots of Seattle. Nice one.

Awesome! Perfect time of day, and what urban landscape could compete with Mt. Ranier poking its head up into the sunset! THis is really stunning. I remember being in that exact spot not too long ago and being breathless because of its beauty!
