super excellent choice in location. it really sets off this (gorgeously handsome) car very well; the slightly space age styling goes with the dishes perfectly, but then s does the block wall and fencing somehow suit its tougher GRR! nature in the car as well. the sky is interesting and inoffensive, the lighting lovely (though the shadow at the back is a bit excessive in length) and really, this is a good car photo with instant interest, style and ooh-ness that sets it above a lot of the others. 8.

that's REALLY reaching in terms of meeting the challenge, even with the creative titling. though hats off to sheer bravado and cahones for going for it. as a picture, its cute if a little bonkers, the colours are very nice and rich, the sharpness and level of detail is very pleasing (especially he grass) and is overall a lot of fun and very likeable. the shadow line at the top unbalances the shot a smidge (cropping out the non-shadowed road might help). i like most the realness of the picture. but the whole challenge thing IS still an issue for me, so 6.

this is a lovely period olde worlde type picture. the sepia works for the most part, dating it back to the right sort of era, and the selective desat (using some schmancy mix of hue /saturation i'd imagine) is effective against the sepia colours. something went a bit awry on the front wings of the bus though, which given it's the main subject, kind of makes them more prominent and hard to miss. being super picky also, the shiny bollards lessens the authentic old feel too. but the rest of the surrounding cityscape 9including the lamppost which doesn't distract) helps maintain a 1950's illusion (as does the language of your title!). generally feels a fun, warm image with a nod to happy times. 7.

i like the cinematic feel of this. obviously, the border is one reason why, but the colours and contrast gives it that feel too. i like the enhancement of yellows; it ties the separate elements together nicely. it does seem a wee bit cluttered though; the builings, the audi tt, the grafitti and the signage all works well, giving it a very urban, almost gritty feel. but the other people do detract; the two walking away are alright, but the pushchair family needs to go. them aside, great stuff, feels like a indie continental european film, with a gritty french voice over perhaps. 8.

the guy looks surprisingly bored given what he's doing! kind of reduces the impact really; you should have shouted for the guy to cheer up! it's certainly a creative form of transport, and i like the white, scientific sci fi look of the environment (and that big giant thing that looks like a zapper for bugs the size of canada). it's a bit of a mad photograph, and i like it; i think it's cute! 7.

i think the shot suffers a bit from the location the car is in. the sunlight has left really big white areas across the windscreen and part of the bonnet, and this really unbalances the picture. and with the sun seemingly on the left, has made the side of the car dark and not very defined. the reflections in the bumper are very bright too. it's an attractive car, but i don't think it's different or exotic enough to stir much emotion (sorry). 4.

feels like a diary type of photo; a snap shot of real life and i appreciate that aspect of it. i really do like this, actually. it's intriguing and certainly thought provoking. i fear you'll get slammed a bit for this picture, though i hope i'm wrong. it's very photo journalistic too, and could be a good stock photo. and it's easy to put oneself in the frame; can imagine sitting there, hearing the bus noises and just gazing out the window. feels a very natural shot, actually. the b&w feels natural too. good luck - 9.

can't quite relate the title with what's going on ,but other than that very likeable. i love the heat haze in the background; not sure i've ever seen it caught so effectively. it's a visually appealing image, greatly composed, nicely bright and colourful, and has a free spirited feel to it; kinda wish there was a bit more of an indication of movement though as i'd imagine the breeze of motion would enhance the free feeling. still, very good. 7.

time travel aside, one can only wonder how you came across this scene! the slightly muted colours are very nice, and i like the composition of the bikes. it's a bit on the bright side, but it does look like it could have been lifted straight from a history book; though is the top sign pointing towards the SS golf club? anyway, over all this is quite dynamic, and given the subject matter, quite evocative of thought. pig about the fence in the foreground though. 7.

not super keen on the title, to be honest; you're only showing the kidney grilles and badge so could be any newish model... in fact, i am 99.1% certain that it isn't a z9; the grills aren't wide enough. ANYway, the water on the bonnet is (though a bit cliched) nicely effective (more so, given the silver paintwork), and the lighting is actually nicely done too. for a centred-type of composition, it could do with being a bit more centred (the chop of the grille on the left leaves the shot looking unbalanced). 5.
