A Painted what?by nygoldComment: Wonderful bird. Would have liked to seen the processing isolate it a little more from the background. |

glitterby tvsometimeComment: Stared at this a long time and I want to really, really like it, but I find everything on the car gorgeous and everything outside of it soooooo distracting. Perhaps had you vignetted it a little or done a vertical crop? Really striking, but not quite there for me. |

The Dance of the Seasonsby sfaliceComment: Lovely image and well done. Thank you for including the tutorial ... I think. LOL I can see how people could want to spend hours playing with that. |

Shine the Lightby charliebakerComment: How about resolving to use all 1200px? A really nice shot that should have been sized differently. Cost you 2 points with me, at least. |

Storm Breakby JakeKurdsjukComment: Originally posted by PennyStreet: In my opinion, this is just as much a double exposure as many of those you commented on.
Beautiful effect though. |
Thanks Penny, but you and I will have to agree to disagree on the double exposure. My comments where made when I could distinctly cull out the full details of the "texture" image with that image also lending both new features and distinct features, and adding new image areas - both illegal for a texture according to the rules. There were many others where I could tell what the image was, but they were used to add texture and not image features. AS with many of those I may have been heavy handed in my application of the wood grain, but only because the flag exception allowed me to be. |

Laundry Dayby JakeKurdsjukComment: Originally posted by sugarbear: I loved this one for the yellow challenge. Where did you shoot this??? |
sugarbear this is at the Crayola Factory in Easton, PA. The entire back entrance is painted like this. Here's a Google street view image. I love that they actually pixelated the faces of one crayon and one marker. Not all, just one each.
