Passionate Purpleby L1Comment: You conveyed the mood (an attractive lady, seductively well dressed, the excellent capture of the spray of fragrance, the ring on her finger all convey the 'passion' mentioned in your title. The purple tones also enhance and add a seductive quality) & purple, yet the model didn't ... after taking another look at your photo I wondered why the models expression didn't have the same 'passion' as the rest of the photo? I'm thinking it may be the 'stance' of her head to protect the lips, nose & eyes from the fragrance being applied... I seem to remember that it didn't usually taste as sweet as it smelled. Glad I took another look as it deserved a higher vote than I initially gave it. |

Silent Tensionby CuriousComment: Lots of prep to get the purple, it worked for the challenge but the title was a little vague for me. You did a good job technically - I like the general blur ... as well as the sharp focus in the facial area. For me the mood seemed more somber than tense...6 |

'34 Fordby jmleliiComment: A tighter crop eliminating the glare of the windshield and an enhancement of the color would make this picture moe appealing to me. |

Cayenne Purpleby C_Steve_GComment: Wow! One of my favorite peppers... You have accurately captured their distinctly vibrant ‘natural purple’ ... It's too bad the natural color of the leaf does not compliment the pepper. Using PS to make the picture more attractive would have helped this image, yet I know all to well that isn’t always possible. |
