Strong contrast and grain provide a classy retro look which I like. Then I begin to wonder if this falls into my category of "colorized purple for the sake of meeting the challenge.." ? A shot like this borders on digital art, specifically because it uses the effects of post processing to achieve the purple or "wow" effect.

Image is cropped a little too tightly for my taste. Would've backed up a bit and given a slightly wider angle. Noise from the effects of (over)sharpening are visible. NeatImage or other noise reduction software would've cleaned this up nicely.

Purple Pleasures

Nice. Subtle. Background seems a little dark but provides nice contrast to the fair-skinned model. Perhaps overexposing 1 or 2 more stops would've brightened up the image nicely. I autoleveled your image and saw much greater contrast and potential to become brighter in post processing. I would've scored this much higher if the lighting was better. Also would've liked to see the tip of her elbow but that's subjective.

Lipstick on glass & purple sheets

Probably wouldn't have noticed the lipstick on the glass w/o the title and think it would've been much more noticeable on the frontside of the left glass. Did you consider purple lipstick? It is rather subtle the way it's positioned now.

Focus apears soft and image is a cropped a little close to the bottom of the glass. Very busy composition here, not sure what the focus is. I'm immediately drawn to the stems of the wineglasses and the wine itself. Perhaps eliminating a few objects would help i.e. wineglasses on the sheets, covering the pillow. You'd have eliminated the lamp, nightstand, and doily which is 50% of your image.

Image is out of focus and overexposed. At first I didn't like how the burst was cropped but I think it works in this composition.
