Having a studio, props, models and lighting is one thing...making good use of them another and you certainly did that here, the way this is lit has made the picture for me.It would have been so easy to ruin it, but you have made a superb job with your attention to detail.

In my opinion the only reason this is not a blue ribbon is that there may not have been enough "Fairy Tale" connection for some.

Very well done.

I like the composition of this image..very well thought out. The fact that the background figure is of a brighter colour helps enormously to make the picture work.

Although your framing is minimal and not given the importance that I thought the challenge was looking for..this is such a superb image that I`m willing to consider that I may be wrong in that.
Fabulous tones with an almost autumnal feel. The mist rising off the water is a lovely backdrop for the boat.
