Brokedown Palace by cpurserComment: This is a powerful image both emotively and visually and thoroughly deserves it`s ribbon placing.

Ouch, no serviceable parts inside! by graphicfunkComment: I`ve great admiration for people who put this amount of work into producing something eyecatching.
I was almost certain this was yours Dan..as it has all the hallmarks.
Very well done.
Congratulations. |

Fragileby AleciaComment: This was one of my top picks...(which is obviously why it didn`t finish as highly as it should.)
My apologies for jinxing you :) |

Unhingedby ranoutComment: This will get voted down because of size..which is a great pity because it is one of the best concepts in the challenge for me. |

It Took Forever!by tyt2000Comment: A common subject in this challenge but given enough of a twist to make it stand out from the rest with me....nicely done...8 |

brokenhearted by librodoComment: I was going to try this image with my daughter but opted out at the last minute as portraiture is not my speciality..and after seeing this, I`m glad I did!!
A captivating blend of softness and clarity with a masterly use of light.
It`s got a 10 from me |

Rail Failby charmayneComment: I like this shot..the twisted shape of the fence is quite intriguing and compositionally, I can`t fault it...you have divided it up well with the fence making a nice diagonal to divide the image neatly.
I would love to have seen the fence as the main subject with the background softly blurred by the use of shallow DOF as I think it competes for attention because of the reflections.
This however, is my personal taste and in no way reflects on the quality of the image...very nice work. |
