Great shot - congratulations. Best of the bunch. Just a thought: could it perhaps be that the "1" was actually entered accidentally, by a user who used the keyboard and intended to given you a 10? It's certainly a nicer thought than thinking this was done intentionally ...

Technically this is excellent, so I think the reason for the "3s" in your score must be due to the subject matter that put some people off. Death, like nudity, are taboo for some. But the subject is a matter of taste, clearly. And personally I would add more significance to the high scores than to the low scores. After all, success will be based on your strengths, and the appreciation of it, not on your weaknesses. And great work isn't always appreciated immediately, or by big crowds. van Gogh was a clear case in point.

The color photo is great - but in the B&W version is much harder to appreciate. Red and green are now virtually indistinguishable and the pattern on the board is competing with the crab.
