So if he burnt things with the firemen and the sun burnt Time, that meant that everything burnt!by hahn23Comment: I like the reference, but believe the composition may be lacking. The lone foreground element does put me in the picture some, and without it the image would be lacking further, but there is nothing to draw me into the image from the lone foreground element. I wish more foreground was included I do believe. I would like to see this same image in advanced editing too. I imagine the smoke would come out a bit more punchy. |

Something Wicked This Way Comes by CuttoothComment: I love the contrast between the shadows and the subject. A perfect marriage of the two images, with the sight lines perfectly aligned. The crop is excellent, and it shows all that is needed. |

Is that you, herb?by bspurgeonComment: Initially not something I gave much thought to, but I like it. This could also nearly pass for the abandoned challenge. The blur in the lower third throws the eye out and up to the open window, where I believe herb to be waiting. |

There Will Come Soft Rainsby riotComment: Nailed it - I believe. Looks like a still from a sci-fi movie. Excellently done. Though, I think you could have brought up the hilights some, just to get rid of more of the blue sky and bring up her skin tones a bit more. But that's just a guess. Very nice, especially for basic.
I think I would have also leaned toward not using a patterned umbrella... but I'm glad you didn't. The pattern draws the eye upward into her face.
Great shot, I hope this ribbons. |

Something's not quite right down at the pier...by eschelarComment: I dislike the foreground. It's quite unpleasant and noisy... and leads me to think maybe the white balance was off.
I also do not see much to lead the eye around the picture, so the eye gets stuck in the strange green swirls, which I can't figure out what they are - which bugs me.
Sorry, that's about as rough as I get. |

Any porta-potty in a stormby Yo_SpiffComment: You have managed to do a great job transforming this subject. It feels more like the eye of a predator... laying in wait, for the perfect moment to strike. |

Lime with a twistby marvinComment: Now I'm thirsty. Looks quite excellent.
Though I must ask, what twist am I missing? |
