love it. doesn't really look like an alley, but the title making me think that way improves upon it a bit for me.. a bit of light in a sea of darkness, right above a lone, white door against a dull, brown wall. great colors and composition. 10.

not sure the selective color adds much for me, unless there's maybe a reason behind it. the only thing i could think of is signs/signals, which could be nice.. but the restaurant signs appear to still be colorless.

excellent, but a couple things that i've noticed. 1) not sure that the soft edges do much for me 2) there seems to be a horizontal white line at the bottom sides of the poster.. not sure if this was intentional, but think it would be better without it 3) fence seems just slightly uneven with horizontal. still, a great photo with an even better motivational message.

wonderful photo. great compositions and technically sound. the border + text also looks very professional. the only thing i would change (which would possibly require just slightly different composition, as a result) is making the standing domino the last in line. it seems like 4 dominos have fallen on it.. it's miraculously standing strong.. yet all the rest have fallen over for no reason apparent to me. and, the dominos at the top of the photo are also still standing.. a composition with this one as the sole domino strong enough to hold its own would convey the message a little better for me. (it doesn't bother me as much as it may sound)
