Black and White Beautyby scoxComment: you don't need a studio for a nice portrait, but you need a background that is a bit less distracting. i think this was a nice choice for b/w with the way the light is hitting her lapels.-8 |

Watchfulby Delta_6Comment: yes...very intense...so a good capture. I'm definitely not a lighting expert, but i think you should have exposed for the tan or just upped the mid levels, as is it feels a bit dark. focus needs to be tighter to score better.-8 |

Siberian Tigerby AlainComment: almost feels like you got him to sit for the shot. those are some sad eyes for a tiger...i guess the russians are pretty stingy with their meat.-8 |

Fullerton Hotelby maggiedddComment: good night shot. i like how the moon came out in the tree. i don't like the bridge as it is peeking into the upper right. i might have tried to step back and incorporate more of the bridge to fully frame the hotel if possible.-8 |

Landing for Distanceby hahn23Comment: technicals of the photo are nice. the long angle doesn't really give a feel of distance as it appears he just barely reached the sand. If i were the long jumper i would most likely want to be captured soaring through the air...luckily i'm just a lame commenter at dpchallenge.-8 |

S E A T T L Eby Art RoflmaoComment: it looks like someone threw a snugglie over the building at the bottom. your contrast is nice, your focus is crisp, your processing makes the lighting look flatter than it probably was so i suppose that was your intent.-8 |

Alice Through The Looking-Glassby digifotojoComment: something feels awkward for me with the unfocused petal running directly across the over-sharpened stamen. But believe me I am not a professional at coming up with creative looking flower shots :( as witnessed back in the day here:
