 This is Melati. She's almost 2 years old now, almost ready to be shipped off to another zoo. Going to miss her and her brother. The day I took this shot, I was there alone late in the arvo and she came to the glass. I walked along it and she followed me, then I ran back and forth as she chased me. It was such a special experience.

Topaz Adjust, masked to the tiger, selective colour in 2 layers to darken the blacks and saturate the oranges, sponge tool on the eye to saturate it, resized, usm twice, 8 bits per channel, saved for web. I saturated it so much because I took some flak for a slightly desaturated shot of the same tiger in the Signature style challenge.

yes...very intense...so a good capture. I'm definitely not a lighting expert, but i think you should have exposed for the tan or just upped the mid levels, as is it feels a bit dark. focus needs to be tighter to score better.-8
