Leading Lightsby GinaRothfelsComment: good focus. you probably have your reasons for this layout, but i can't help but wonder if centering the middle pole wasn't possible, by stepping to the right. Also i would have cloned out the clouds as they only distract. think it could have used a bit more contrast aswell |

Serenityby sheapodComment: good tones, a touch soft. daring to follow an IR winner with an IR shot. based on the challenge i know that you were shooting a line of trees but your composition doesn't give me a strong focal point. i think you want me looking at the second big tree, though i'm not sure why |

Popsiclesby bucketComment: clever idea. tough break on the blown out shirt, as it's kind of distracting. composition if controllable, i would have gone with her arm out of the pic and his popicle arm up more to match hers. colors are very nice |

Line to the Ladyby toddheadComment: wonderful clarity. the fill flash works for me. i'm not so sure about the composition. I would have at least saved her feet and lost the grass. not sure what to do in the current surroundings, maybe with her back on the other wall with a bent leg to mimic the triangle in the slope |

Wykeham Walkby bicrayComment: nice composition. i think it could have used a bit more contrast to help pull out more of your stone's texture. |

Replaced by the Tucsonby jbsmithanaComment: the texture on the boat is very cool. there was another photo in the challenge of a brick wall that leads to a house. i think if you had chosen an angle similiar to that and gotten macro close to the foreground boat and managed to keep the other one blurred in the background, you'd have something that better led the eye and better exposed that wonderful texture |

Protest Lineby SeanachaiComment: i like the idea. the focus and clarity are fantastic. i'm not sure the issue lends itself well to a pristine street and a suburbia like setting. maybe getting in their faces might have changed the drama of the pic, though not good for showing a leading line. i actually just noticed the "leading line". i might have focused on the right half of the pic. |

Target practiceby graphicfunkComment: i like when i get an emotion from a pic. this one really makes me uneasy, not just the gun, but the close range shot like you're placing it up against someone's head. the mixed signal provided by the coke can is extremely intriguing. I would have thought the more natural target to be a bud can. but upon further reflection the feeling of a caffeen overdose adds to the tension. very interesting, though i wouldn't hang it on my wall. |

Class of 2005by RickHComment: clever idea, good focus. the composition just feels a bit to chaotic to be able to make it fully work. |
