Harborby GraciousComment: I thank everyone who commented on my picture. You all agree that it is overexposed. It's too bad that I can't see that on my monitor. I'm not sure what I can do about my monitor. But I really appreciate you all letting me know the problem. :-) |

The Gardenby snsComment: This looks like a delightful location. The coloring works quite well, especially the brick ground. Adds lots of warmth to the picture, as well as pattern and texture.
The iron fences and the light fixture add interest as well, and the flowers soften the whole picture nicely.
The composition seems a little tilted. That can be easily fixed by rotating and cropping. I think I would have composed the picture to have the lamp post more to the right, to push it a little more off-center.
Over all I like this.

Frantic Last Minute Packingby KonadorComment: You certainly were successful in showing movement. I can feel your franticism...lol This meets the "Travel" challenge, and shows a creative thought process. I seem to recall you mentioning that you were looking for an idea at the last minute, and you portrayed that well.
Without the title it would be a little difficult to determine just what is occuring here, but works well with the title.
The white is somewhat blown out, but lol mine was much worse! LOL
I'd like the entire image to be more focused. Too much detail is lost.
You made a real good effort though, and came through!

Longing for homeby dexter2Comment: I like the "burning look" you gave this by using sepia. It adds so much warmth to an image that might otherwise be cold. Because of the shading, this is an interesting textural picture. The clouds look as though you could rest comfortably upon them....:-)
Including a part of the plane gives the picture a story, and there is no doubt about where you are shooting from.
The light spot in the sky is a little over-exposed, causing a hot spot.
The prop shows motion...good!
