CRITIQUE CLUB!
Fantastic shot -- excellent idea for the challenge.
I like the way the background disappears. I also like the carton and don't mind the text -- makes it look like someone just opened it up and got a surprise.
The lighting from the right is a bit harsh. I don't mind it on the eggs so much, but the stark shadows it casts detract from the picture. Perhaps another light from the left and less light on the right would balance it out.
My only other suggestion is that maybe you could have shot this at a bit of an angle, just to make the composition of the photo more interesting. You could still show all 12 eggs, but just maybe from a 45 degree angle or so to give a little depth to the photo.
Overall, excellent. You met the challenge with a great photo. |

| This is a good representation of the challenge, and it is technically flawless. IMHO it lacks creativity in aesthetics and composition. Did you try another angle, a more suggestive cropping, or a white background, so the dullness in colours is reduced? |

Very clear photo, I can read most of the Nutrition Facts. A tad too bright on the right most two eggs, otherwise very nicely light. I was hoping this challenge would net more out of this world strangeness, but this does meet the challenge.

| definitely a stranger, but not a strange in a strange land, cudos on the lighting, shape and form, shadow, and pattern which are all elements of design that make for a quality picture. |

| Great Idea. Maybe you could have removed the cover and the five middle supports. This would have removed the distracting shadows. I still like it. Jacko. |

| Hard to get even exposure over the whole length of the carton. The eggs on the right are just a bit bright. I like the texture of the carton and use of light in general. |
