Life as a Swanby andrimComment: Sweet... You succesfully captured the shades of light trhougout the image. No easy trick! I'm not sure why, but I don't get the feeling of motion here. The image seems to want to emote it, but I don't feel it. Good luck! |

- untitled - 2004 10 03 - 3134 -by spidermanComment: Wow... he looks ticked! Seriously... Nice thought behind the image, but it seems pixilated... perhaps by sharpening... perhaps intentionally. For me... that distracts from the image. Good luck... |

Iguanaby BudComment: At first I thought... needs more color contrast (subject v. surroundings). I then thought... nice image.. show him in his habitate quite well (duhh). I do have difficulty with the very bright burned out vegitation and back ground. It make it difficult for me to look at and concentrate on the subject. Good luck! |

mocassinby jjbeguinComment: I like it! The empty shadows give sense of forboding to the image. Good work! |

Feeding timeby kosmikkreeperComment: Very nice! Not over sharpened (allways a danger with plumage), color balance nice and great depth of field. Good work and good luck! |

Ibisby jab119Comment: Quite nice... I love the composition, color and the feeling of solid, deep depth... I would have liked to see some detail in the shoulder and back reigons (burned out), but I also know how hard it is to shoot a white bird against a dark background and not loose something in the translation!
Nice work and good luck! |

Sunday Afternoon Strollby JeileenComment: A bit high on the saturation for my taste. Some over sharpening, too (one of my challanges!) The main issue that I have is the lack of highlight and shadow detail. I know how hard it is to shoot these suckers in direct sunlight, especially at the start and end of the day. Good luck and keep shooting... They are a worthy subject! |

Oh Dear Me!by BrookiedComment: Nice looking animals... The woods in the background are great, and the light and shadows give it great depth. However, to be honest, the animals seem very flat and without depth or life (telephoto lens?). There seems to be no spart in them so as a result, I believe the picture as a whole suffers. Good luck. |
