Stringing Me Alongby arnitComment: Simple, yet elegant. Very nicely done. The DOF is keeping my eyes a bit over-occupied though. Particularly the highest most cross section. I would have liked that section of the ribbon sharper to emphasize the thickness of the ribbon. Ah heck, who needs a nitpicker. Nice job. |

Clouds of Fireby GraciousComment: WOW!!! What a spectacular sky. I'm curious what you would have seen if you panned more to the left. It seams that you cropped it just as it was building up in intensity. |

Making Dueby jjbates4Comment: Great concept. You also managed to capture the vibrance of the colors very well. |

Colored waxby procyonComment: Very nice interpretation of the challenge. The depth of field really adds much dimension to the overall image. I wish I had something to say to help you improve, but I can't think of anything. |

Hydrantby GordonComment: This is a wonderful picture. If you have access to this area, you may want to consider composing the photograph so that the hydrant is less prominant, maybe in one of the top corners. For the challenge, the foreground focus on the hydrant is understandable, but for prosperity, I think distancing it may show better. |

Sunset in Memphisby dixonp1Comment: A nice sunset, however, the picture appears a bit too dark, especially since it is into the sun. It does pull a lot of contrast out of the clouds though. |

Management motivational techniquesby s2fraserComment: The idea is cute but the execution leaves me confused. The carrot is used to motivate someone to move forward yet your subject should be motivated to stay put. Maybe I am looking to deep into this. |

I Couldn't Resistby dsawchukComment: Sadly, the lemon, being a citrus fruit, is of a 'similar variety' of an orange. As such, I shall give you a 1 for not meeting the challenge. (Sorry, I could resist either). I love your interpretation and am tempted to add a 0 to the end of that 1 just for the shear genius of the idea. Photographically speaking, nice vibrant colors, nice lighting, and excellent composition/use of negative space. Very well done. |

ulgy orangesby maisiebComment: I'm sure I am not the first to say... "See how creative you can be in composing an interesting shot where orange is the primary color without photographing the fruit called an "orange" (or any of its similar varieties, like tangerines.)" |

orange smokeby MundiComment: You are really pushing the boundaries of 'orange' here. It's just enough to let slide though. The photograph itslef is very emotive and well taken. The background is the only part that I find lacking. While the use of negative space is nice, the blending in of the white stripes and the wall is a bit distracting. It kind of gives the impression that the arms aren't attached. |
