This is definitely noir-ish. It's dark and feels well done. Somehow the huge plant adds a lot to the photo for me. Like the "director" of your movie said "I don't care, we've got a story to tell!" I don't think I'm explaining that well, but I'm bumping this to an 8.

This is really good. While it doesn't have people (I hope you aren't getting dinged too hard for that), it really paints a feeling of the period for me. It's dark and grungy and tells its own story. I would have done a title like "our protagonist's last view" or something, but your title is better and adds its own element.

This has a nice feel to it. Nice lighting and costume. (love the tie) My small suggestion for improvement, if no one else has said so, is that his leg seems amputated because of the perspective. It's obvious it's not, it's just a trick of the eyes. Still, love the shadows and mood of this.

Creepy! This is cool. The noisiness, slight lack of focus and ambiguity leaves this coming out as really dark and slightly morbid. Perfect!
