backyard funby PennyStreetComment: Interesting and weird at the same time, pairs looking towards one another (dog-woman, child-man) as well as woman-man from the edges. They are all in the central horizontal line, making me wonder why this composition? No idea but it is intriguing. 6 |

When your world shatters by MargaretNetComment: As I cannot add to the description I will add a comment here. It looks like my Blue is going to be followed by a Brown, I wonder if it is some kind of a record :)
PS Not sure about Brown any more. Message edited by author 2024-11-26 23:29:44. |

Not so modern :)

Ahh. I didn't look at the previous running of this, but it must have stuck in my head. Last time was a Blue! Congrats.

Yes, 5 years apart but the title is from much more remote past, the first Minimalist Landscape challenge:

Devil's Peak Carnage by MargaretNetComment: It was last minute idea, I really wanted to use Matterhorn for a challenge but ran out of time. I needed photos of the graves of those who died on Matterhorn and make a poster with a lot of a red in a gloomy night scene but I had to use what I had.
It is sad that so many young people died there, most recently 5 members of one family - 3 brothers, an uncle and a cousin. We were at Zermatt when it happened, absolutely horrible tragedy. |

Pi in the Sky by MargaretNetComment: This is real, taken on March 25 from a moving car with my new Iphone 15 Pro. I wish I knew at a time how to capture Raw DNG with this Iphone as JPEG was over-sharpened and over-saturated.
I have no idea why the pilots "drew" letter Pi but I remembered there was a DP challenge about pi so I took the photos and entered the challenge.
I was amazed that the Participants average was 5.57, the sign of times? Average photo for this challenge ??? With a real pi in the sky? WOW, what happened to the good old DPC. Message edited by author 2024-04-03 14:47:49. |
