Actually the shutter speed was more of a what if scenario. There were a bunch of bees flying in an out pretty quickly so I figured that I may get lucky with on of the snaps. I did catch a couple of bees but they were OOF.

There's very little noise - Canons are good at that at higher ISOs - but in looking at your settings you could have easily cranked the ISO down a few and still had a good shutter speed. (Then again, if you're like me, you have it set for something and forget to change it. I do that all the time.)
