The Sun Also Risesby chaliceComment: A lot of feeling in here, your use of the effect supports that, I can kind of connect that feeling to the Lost Generation of the novel and the Spanish style of colour. I can imagine the clouds are the bulls in the yellow sand being watched by the city below.6. |

we the living by Ayn Randby jmritzComment: Doesn't look like Kira, maybe it's Leo collecting his proletariat McDonalds rations. A quirky and lovable piece that could be supplanted onto any novel ;).8. |

"The Great Gatsby" Rememberedby beatabgComment: Camp as !;) The dress looks absolutely strange using the over saturation. I like the gaiety, you've put quite some effort into the shot, it would make a great advert stock photo. Relates to the novel in a kitsch way.5. |

Brave New World - Aldous Huxleyby DamonComment: Beautiful light, the softness makes it a little murky, though the saturation brings a lot of detail out. The empty sky is in conflict with the large grass clump in the foreground. Individually, all the elements are very good, it doesn't gel for me as a whole unfortunately, a shame because you have picked a beautiful place to go. In regard to the novel, is can be subjectively related but not strongly. A nice effort just the same.5. |
