I'm not usually a big fan of branches in the foreground because most people don't consider if they add or distract from the composition. And most times they distract, imo. But these really add to your composition because they repeat the shapes in the opera house. Thanks. You've given a completely new way of viewing a much photographed building.

Nicely done. I like how you have used dof to create a colorful frame around the central flower. I don't know if the composition is as interesting as it could have been. Usually a non-centered composition is more dynamic.

The skin is facinating. Almost like there was glitter applied. This fits the challenge. Technically the eye looks cloudy, almost like an older person with cateracts. I do like this for some reason. Maybe it's because of the neutral expression? A square crop would have eliminated any distractions from the eye and created a more forceful statement, imo.

I like how the red in the wings are repeated in the flower buds. There is a lot of green and one could stretch the meaning of the challenge to say this was a frame but I think you are expecting to much from the viewers.

It fits the challenge. I question if the darker upper branches add to the composition. It is a pleasant scene otherwise.

The colors are pretty but perhaps a bit oversaturated. The exposure is ok. Serene location. The tree branch might have been included to fit the challenge but looking at the picture, I question if it adds anything to the composition. I keep wishing the canoe was in the picture more.

The exposure is very good and I like the softness of the focus. The lightness and angle of her face make it the central focus of the picture and gives rythym to the picture. The hair hanging down repeats the iris leaf pattern and adds to the dynamic instead of detracting. The only thing that, to me, isn't perfect is the expression on her face. She doesn't look like this is something she likes and it causes some negative emotions within me.
