Good post processing. I like the shadow play in the yard and the mist creeping over the wall.

This is very pj. Would be good for a newspaper story on the event. I love that one line on the booth. "you have not been understood". Ha. The story of my life!

I agree with Mike. A frontal view of the face does tell more of a story, and the smirk slows the viewer down enough to take time to enjoy the picture.

Wonderful composition. The chairs look so much like a couple sitting there having a conversation. Squeezing them into the top portion emphasizes the feeling of animated closeness.

This is what it's all about, isn't it, to get that connection between the photographer, the subject and the viewer. It's a very emotive picture. His eyes are filled with life. And the lines on his face indicate he has done a lot more smiling than frowning.

I like how the reflection gives a more intimate view of the couple than the real view. Nice catch.

Good find, well captured. Those dots really make this picture unique. If you want richer colors, try duplicating the the picture as a new layer and use the multiply blend mode at differing opacities.

You know, I really don't equate "family" with death. Seems to be the antithesis to family, imo.

Would there have been any way to get a less centered composition? The little guy is nicely in focus.
