Nature's work of artby NonageComment: Nothing wrong with letting nature tell it's own story. The colors are too unreal.
OK. I read your notes. Still hard to believe the colors could be that saturated.

Blueberriesby Spanish_GreaseComment: The color is really nice. I know I shouldn't be like this but the stuff (not the blueberries) in the spoon really is not appealing at all. This would have been a 10 without it. |

Beetlejuiceby scalvertComment: Excellent real detail. Great color. Best in the lot that I voted on. Good luck. |

Baby Blueby j8xmanComment: It's oof. The reflection isn't strong enough for it to be considered a part of the composition and by trying to include it the picture looks imbalanced. It's a good idea. Maybe try moving around till a more clear reflection is created would help if you try it again. |

T3by eswikComment: I don't know what this is, which has nothing to do with anything you might say, but part of the enjoyment of photography for me is seeing something I know photographed well. So, since I don't know what this is, I feel no connection to it and don't find it interesting. If it was closer and made into an abstract I would probably like it though. Sorry. |

I Like Blueby storytellerComment: You might find that voters like clean precise compositions. The idea of the photo was valid enough and can still lead to an exploration of the subject. This photo looks too cluttered and is not arranged in a pleasing fashion. I would suggest picking two items that have a relationship to each other, say the stapler and ruler, and working on different compositions just using them. When you have a pleasing shot, add another item. Try not to use more than 3 objects. Good luck. |

Magical skyby AmasonComment: Wish there was something else to add interest to the picture. I don't think the darkness around the edges add anything to the image. Please don't let this comment discourage you. Everyone sees things differently. |

Lava Lampby singaleComment: The picture is fuzzy from lack of focus. All the space around the lamp doesn't add to the composition and could have been eliminated by moving closer to the subject. Try to avoid over use of neat image. Sorry for being so negative. |

Scraping the Bottom of the Bottleby troyloxComment: There isn't much wrong with the technique used to take this picture other than the highlights being blown. It is blue also. I can see how well you got everything all lined up in the frame. Personally, it looks more like a scanned picture, as in the bottle was placed on the scanner and a "picture" taken of it. I don't think there is enough in the picture for it to be entertaining. |
