I am trying to figure out what vantage point you had to take this image since it does not look like you were standing on the "passerelle" at the rear of the castle. Nice to see that the scaffolding is finally down. I am looking forward to visiting this location again in 2013.
Great image and I wish you the very best of luck in the challenge.
Yes indeed it is the Neuschwanstein Castle. The image was taken from the Marienbrücke bridge.

No, I did not use the liquify filter on her hips. She is just that fit.

Is it the water in Iceland? It seems that every photo from an Icelandic photographer is beautiful, it's just not fair :). This was one of my highest rated images in the free study. You received a solid score and getting in the top 20 is awesome! I love the snow drifting in the field and the range of light throughout the entire picture.
In regard to the negatives of this image, there are none. It would take a much more skilled photographer than me to give you any advice. In fact I shouldn't even be allowed to critique this haha. Overall it's a great image with great black and white processing, and I really hope to see you enter more challenges!
If you have any questions click here to message me!
Thank you Senay ;)
