Left Outside Alone by the_rkpComment: I agree with Barbara, this image tells a story. It really stands out in this month Extended FS - very well deserved win. |

All flights grounded by DennisheckmanComment: What a delicate image Dennis. I really love it and I'm sure it would work also in B/W.
ETA: 600mm Canon should be a real monster! |

Trabucco by DennisheckmanComment: I live there and yet I never caught a moment in time like you did when we were together. It's great you got a ribbon with this shot - it's been a great time we spent together and this is an absolutely super shot :) |

Surreal RIver at night by Alex_PetriniComment: Originally posted by kirbic: You obviously had a lot of moonlight! I really would like to see more stars, but with that much moonlight you are limited as to what you can get. Timing with a low lunar % illumination would be necessary to get the right balance of starry sky and illumination of the land. It's possible under starlight only (new moon), but you need a *lot* of exposure time. |
Fritz thanks for your comment. We had almost full moon. It's impossible to take videos in pitch black conditions and my friend/colleague Fortunato (several times awarded in the most important nature contests in the world) loves to take images during moonlit nights. Even with a super ISO monster like A7SII you need moon in the sky. In this case I was shooting time-lapse and this one was the sequence I shot before taking the photo:
