Mysteriousby chetandesaiComment: I can see where you were going with this. This certain type of sepia coloring has been done by Jagar is several of his color shots. You did well to match it. |

fencesby FourPointXComment: I think this pose is indicative of Jagars style. I see a lot of his subjects walking while looking at the camera. You did good with that. I think the rule of thumb for the composition is either include the full length of the person, feet and all, or take a 3/4 portrait above the knee. The legs kind of look like stumps if you don't get the feet. |

Morning Coffeeby CanonShooterComment: I think this is very much in the style of Jagar, with good tones and a great street shot. The technicals are there with a great DoF and focus is spot on. The light is just right on the person while the shadows are nice and black. If there are any critiques to make it would be the man's feet are cut off just below the knees and kind of look like stumps. I think the rule of thumb is include the whole person or do a three quarter portrait above the knee line. Jagar lives in a unique part of the world which has the old European style, you did well to match that setting. |

The Cement Worksby GilesComment: I like this shot. It is something that I would see in my neck of the woods in Pennsylvania. Now I know how to shoot such a mundane seen to make it extraordinary. It's all about the environment and waiting for the right weather, lighting, mood, whatever. Thanks for showing such a great vision. |
