Jesuslandby pitsamanComment: Have you ever seen the huge cross, similar to this one but I'm not sure how they compare as far as size goes, near Ballinger, Texas? This reminds me of it. The one in Ballinger can be seen for quite a few miles on either side of town. I've never been up close to it, but it must be massive.
As far as your photo goes, I like how the cross, sky and clouds work together, but that building (being constructed, or falling part) on the bottom right does nothing for the photo :( Still, nice shot :) |

My Picassoby NeilComment: I thought this was brilliant and I wasn't even familiar with Picasso's self portrait (after taking a look at the link I decided I wanted to comment because you did such an awesome job on this shot). I gave you an 8 initially but now I wish I'd given you a 10. Such creativity is not always appreciated by the majority (as the best DPCrs already know) but the majority isn't capable of creating masterpieces. |

Fighting for survivalby LalliSigComment: I can't believe this didn't place higher. I think people were traumatized by the subject and didn't vote according to the quality of the photo. I was horrified, but amazed at the same time when I came across this one during the voting process. My mother has always told me that swans are vicious, but this was the first time I'd seen proof.
I was one of the 6 who gave this image a 10 and I'm truly saddened that so many others felt they had to vote it down. It's a brilliant capture worthy of National Geographic (at least). |

Kodak POTD!!!by SkipComment: Aw man, I wish I'd known! I go into the city relatively often and would've loved to have gone to see your photo up in Times Square! I've submitted a photo, or two, of mine trying to get up there so I think it's awesome that someone I sort of know made it :) Good for you! |
