Yes, this meets the challenge and it is a technically ok photo, but it just didn't grab my attention. So it is better then average, but not what I would consider a spectacular shot.

I have to say, I'm torn. This is an excellent photo and I just love it, but it doesn't meet what I feel this particular challenge was about. I took this challenge at face value... photograph something that was light in color against a pure white background. In that respect, I don't feel this meets the challenge. Again, however, I love it... 6

I think this would have been a good entry. My take on the challenge was to get as white a background as possible with your subject mostly a light color. In this respect, you have done wonderfully. On my monitor, the top (background) is a very pure white color while the bottom (subject) has a grayish tinge (still a light color). I probably would have given you a 7 or 8.

Well, I gave you a 6. I think if you had pulled out a bit more so all of the statement could be read, this would have been better understood. In particular, the word "darkness" is almost impossible to read. You could also have tried using the phrase as the title of the photo, but not everyone reads those. I have to say, overall you have a nice range of votes and a good score. I think some of the lower votes can be attributed to those who just plain old vote low and those who didn't see the meaning of your photo. Good luck!
