What I love about this is the cool pattern caused by the negative shape inside the seeds. I also like the subtle tones of color.

Best Dandelion shot by far.

I thought that the weed took up just a bit too much space for minimalism, but still a great shot 8

a different view of a common subject can separate a shot from the pack, and it actually has some texture to the background, I wish it was a little lighter right at the center of the dandelion, but that's nit picking, very good shot, hope it does well

this is by far the most beautiful dandilion (and perhaps flower period) picture i have ever seen. I am heartbroken i cannot give it higher than a 4 because it does not meet the challenge requirements. Fantastic photo though. Kudos.

*very* interesting photo. love the point of view. subject is maybe a tad over-large for the challenge.

I would like to see more details on this.... yet, it is an impressive capture....gj.

like the color pallete and star composition, unusual angle adds interest, perhaps a bit too much detail and size for this specific challenge. one of my top picks nonetheless.

Cool title and point of view, but it's taking up too much space for minimalism I think.

I think this takes up a bit too much of the photo to meet the challenge discription, but I like it... 7

Cool take on a dandelion (sort of done to death). I like the contracting tones combined with the subtle difference in tones between the little parachutes and the sky. If cloning were allowed, I would take out that little leaf on the stem.

I just.....REALLY like this shot. I'm not sure I can effectively put into words why :-) I like the starish shape of the green stems. I like the dark and light parts of the dandelion fluff. The compliment each other well. And I enjoy the overall star shape of the picture as a whole.

I really like this. I like how the dandelion little feathers fade into your background without losing any of their sharpness. This is a neat looking picture.

I think this would have really been strong on a black background. Nice detail, which would have shown even more on the black. <6>

There have been many dandelion pictures but this is very interesting. Maybe i would preferet it b&w cuz green is pretty dark and there is no other colors.
