Linear Libertyby banmornComment: You're playing with my mind! But that's fine, it needs the exercise! Very well controlled grain that adds a certain dignity somehow and well framed too. |

Lovers Bayby Alex_PetriniComment: I'm not sure that I'd describe what I am seeing here as "grain" but it's an interesting texture. Nice composition and light. |

Monsterby PaulComment: Paul, lovely shot, great tones. I gave it a 9. Is the camera rotated/moved as well? I can't image this much cat dog movement captured in 1/140, although perhaps if you were very close.

Miami Condoby CoryComment: Cory, I was meandering through DPC abstracts and was rewarded by finding this. Thank you. Such a wonderful image. A really fine piece of art. Great lines and colors. My appreciation was heightened ever further by reading docpjv's description... |

The fieldsby redpandaComment: I love the great expanse of sky. Great way to meet the challenge. Also a lovely fresh feel like it's just finished raining... (would be interesting to find out later). Bump. |

Widecombe in the moorby paynekjComment: Lovely capture of this Devonshire scene, with the transition to moorland, perfect for a portrait orientation. I spent most of my childhood in the West Country and my parents retired to the village of Dittisham not far from here. I always loved going back. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather like this in mid-October when I'll be back to visit my brother and his family! |

Cold Winter's Morningby AmmieComment: Layers upon layers within this. You have been using wonderful gradients of tonality in several of your recent images. Lovely stuff! |
